The GREATEST ever to play hoops in the ACC. Others did better at the next level, but in college he was the best ever in the ACC (back when it really was the ACC)

if not the best,.certainly he belongs on the starting 5 for ACC all time all star team, he did have the freedom to shoot at NC State, averaging 29.9 his last year...that probably would have been 15 a game for Dean Smith...one of the greatest leapers in basketball history

“It was six against five. ‘DT’ counted as two.”

That was freakin' GREAT! We were at dinner and the big screen was on in the corner and we yet out a large yell on that last score that made everyone turn their head as the sound was off and no one really paying attention.

And it's been a long time since Duke football (oxymoron?) was 5-1 at this stage of the season. If we take a win against VPI in Blacksburg, even as down as they are, we're looking at bowl. Of course, I have a feeling i may be posting at 5-4 with hopes our slim hopes are alive. At least it's nice to be able to care and see the improvements under Cutcliffe's leadership.

And one thing we can both agree on - thank god we're not UNC.
